We at Dick Scott Nissan may not be making it to the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit next month, so we decided to do some digging about what Nissan has in store for the exhibition and to share that information with our readers. The automaker's major contribution will be the unveiling of two brand-new concepts: a new take on the Nissan Pathfinder and an all-new electric van concept.
The Nissan Pathfinder Concept will be a preview of the new look, style and attitude the company will bring to its SUV segment. The new Pathfinder is slated to go on sale in the fall of 2012 at Nissan dealerships nationwide. Nissan will also preview an innovated electric van concept. The concept is a future production version of a fully-electric vehicle designed to provide families or business with roomy comfort, while offering a decreased carbon footprint. In addition to these concepts, Nissan will show off one of its new "Food Trucks" by providing local Detroit cuisine for visitors of the auto show. A special announcement will be made on the opening day of the show, January 9, 2012 at a special media reception ceremony.
Interested in hearing more about the new concepts? So are we! Stay tuned here with Dick Scott Nissan to learn complete details of what happens at the show.
