Update on the Nissan LEAF 2012 Model Year


There is no doubt that the 2011 Nissan LEAF has been a hit among consumers.  It was even named 2011 World Car of the Year. It's hard to imagine that the 2012 models could get any better. But, it has, both in terms of technological features and availability.

Nissan only released the LEAF to select markets including including California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Tennessee.  This was because these states are where Nissan factories or company headquarters are.  Simply stated, it was the most budget-minded way possible to test how consumers responded to the innovative car.

It might be difficult for us in the U.S. to even pronounce, but the Nissan Qashqai has recently hit a significant milestone underlining the crossover's continued popularity in markets abroad, including the U.K. as well as Japan and Australia where it is known as the Nissan Dualis. For the sake of making the rest of this a little easier to read, Qashqai is pronounced Kash-key...kind of like the whole grain cereal only with a "k" in the middle. Anyway, moving on...
