Prior to the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, Honda released some images of the 2012 Honda Insight.  Although the pictures didn't reveal much we at Dick Scott Nissan can tell you that the front bumper and grill have been given a dramatic facelift.  Honda has focused on making them more aerodynamic than ever.

By focusing on aerodynamics the Honda Insight will move more easily through the air boosting fuel economy. Honda modified other areas of the vehicle, as well, to further amplify ratings. For example, they tweaked the engine to mitigate friction. They also optimized the performance of the continuously variable transmission as well as the air conditioning system.

What's the end result? Well, Honda hasn't shared that much detail. At this point, all we can tell you is it will deliver over 45 mpg and likely not more than 51 mpg.
